The plan was to go sledding. The assumption was that there would be snow. There's always snow at Mark's creek.
Much thought was put into the preparations. Maybe as much effort should have been put into finding out how things were really looking up there. At least they had taken plenty of wood for a bonfire. They set the hill ablaze, ate all of their food and were home before I could even miss them... And they were not the least bit fazed! Oh, to be young again.
Blessings, Debbie
What a great outing! Even without the snow :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd look at the smiles.
ReplyDeleteI love people who just like the adventure of it all, no matter how it turns out. The bonfire alone would be fun to me!
Of course, they could have gone mud boggin'!
No doubt they had a great day:@)
ReplyDeleteMy girls would have been disappointed but would be smiling just to be spending the day with friends...looks like that is how your girls are too!
ReplyDeleteDeanna
It still looks like they had a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!

Way too funny...it has been a very strange weather year...
ReplyDeleteStill looks like fun. Good lesson on going with the flow. From the happy faces it looks like the learned it very well!
ReplyDeleteThat is pretty funny - I suppose they should have checked - but if there's always snow, well
ReplyDeleteThey had fun together!
That's funny. March weather can be fickle. They still look happy, so it all the preparations were not wasted.
ReplyDeleteI bet they still had a great time. Yes,to have all that youthful energy would be nice. :)
ReplyDeleteAwe...cute post...:) This might be the trip they remember the most? The one without the snow! A great adventure still.
ReplyDeleteBlessings for a happy day!
xoxo...Gloria

Your family is just toooooooooo much fun!!!!!!! What life!!
ReplyDeleteIt is because you have raised them to find joy in the journey, whether there is snow or not! How much happier they are than people who can't find the joy. . . Still and all, a funny story!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that this bunch of kids found some other sport to keep them from having a total lost outing. They seem to be a great bunch. JB
ReplyDeleteWell snow or no snow that is a nice picture of happy kids.
ReplyDeleteI bet they had a blast.
Just visiting your site is such a joy. I do not always comment, but I read right along!
ReplyDeleteSnow has been rather an absent visitor this year.
They look happy to me! :-)
ReplyDeleteAhhhhh...the adventurous heart of youth...and the good attitude of your offspring! (I think that they have learned from their mother!)
ReplyDeleteWho needs snow, huh?! :D
