I just dropped my married/mama girl off at the church where she will be standing with her friend as she gets married tomorrow. I'm listening to the music coming from the guitar and voices that harmonize so beautifully in the other room... the aunties who wait patiently for our sleeping beauty to awaken. Charlotte is napping and we are in charge. Grin!
In a few more hours my boy and his girl will arrive with our son-in-law/brother-in-law from over the mountain. And did I mention that Charlotte is sleeping in the other room? Did you see my grin?
Blessings, Debbie
Aw, Granny! She's adorable! She's blessed to have you for her grandmother!
ReplyDeleteI can feel your happiness Debbie and I am so happy for you, she is a cutie.
ReplyDeleteI had my wee one here for a whole 24 hours, it was grand!
Grandgirlies are so wonderful!
ReplyDeleteDeanna
She's a cutie patootie! I'm so happy for you. I adore my grandbabes too.
ReplyDeleteShe's just beautiful! Have fun with that sweet girl!
ReplyDeleteGrinning, too. :) It is simply the best, isn't Debbie? Yes it is. We have our Charlotte here with us until at least June when the little family will, Lord willing, be taking up residence in an apartment in town much closer to my son's employer. Will miss them like crazy, but am thankful for this 1st year of the little grandbabe's life that we've been a part of her first 365. Good to hear from you! Blessings, Lisa :)
ReplyDeleteYes, oh yes I see your grinning. It's making me grin too. Such a beautiful growing family!
ReplyDeleteIt all sounds perfectly wonderful! Sleeping beauty indeed, I bet she is one loved up baby and so very precious too!
ReplyDeleteThis is so very precious! What a beautiful family!
ReplyDeleteBlessings and blessings! Why wouldn't you be grinning ear to ear?
ReplyDeleteI can that child has as much delight in her aunties as they do in her. (keep talkin', grandma!) :D

ReplyDeleteHi - you popped into my mind there and I wondered how you were doing. Hope you and your family are well. I imagine Charlotte will have you all wrapped round her little finger now -what fun grandchildren are. xxx
ReplyDeleteThought of you this morning, Debbie, and popped in to say "Hi!" and "I miss you" and "I think you owe us another photo of gorgeous Charlotte." Just sayin' ;)
ReplyDeleteHope that all is going well with you and your family! Hugs...
Hey Debbie! I think of you OFTEN! Hope all is well. xoxo
ReplyDeleteIt makes me wonder what happened that you went silent two years ago! Your granddaughter is so adorable and must still be. Perhaps there are grandchildren now. I also thought that you are now thirty-one years married. Any chance of an update?
