Sweet and demure, 100 % merino homespun with mohair locks and a bamboo skeletal, digestive, circulatory... stuffing. And she's modest. Poor Chloe. Erin made her a quick outfit since I wasn't moving fast enough. Next she deemed it, "not good for the girl to be alone", so she whipped her up a companion. Did you know that you could felt bamboo? Erin didn't know that you can't. It was a test in patience but the result is soft and sweet.

Chloe has a little lamb! Thanks Erin.

Debbie, she looks so adorable! I did not know you could felt bamboo so thank you for the tip.
ReplyDeleteSorry you can't sleep. My new wake up time is 4:00 a.m. I will be so thankful when these hormones settle down!

Hugs on this Monday morning...
(Now I MUST prepare for my lunch guest!)
Awwww - so cute. I thought you could only felt animal furs!!
ReplyDeleteIt must have been a lot of fun creating Cleo and she looks so sweet. The little lamb is just too cute too.
ReplyDeletePlaying with dolls is fun is fun isn't it? JB
How fun...you all always inspire and enjoy life! What a gift. I can't imagine having other creative hands at home...well I did, they were boys and it was taking a 71 Mustang apart!! or motors.
ReplyDeleteShe is darling- I love that your daughters get involved too.
ReplyDeleteThat is adorable, and beyond. Sweetness!
ReplyDeleteMy, she is lovely....love her face and pigtails!
ReplyDeleteVery cute. I love making dolls.
ReplyDeleteYou asked what variety that blueberry was? It still had the tag on it. It is called a Highland Blueberry. My husband loved the markdown area at Lowe's and Home Depot and he found it last year at the end of the season. It looked almost dead when he brought it home. That is why it looks so incredible to us this year. It has done really well and had grown so much. We have another blueberry right next to it and it is half the size.
She's adorable! And her lamb is just precious. I didn't know bamboo could felt either, but it gave it a nice halo.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your sweet comments. I am trying (sort of) to catch up to everyone. Yep, sleepless nights around here but not too bad. He's such a mellow little guy and he'll nurse in bed so I do get some sleep. Plus daddy moved his schedule around to be home more and it has been such a big help. :)
Absolutely adorable! I've been looking forward to seeing how your felted doll turned out. It gives a nice effect. Love the dress. Hides her modesty nicely. The lamb is so sweet.
ReplyDelete(Thanks for your comment about the patchwork along. I hope you can join in.)
Don't you love that your girls are old enough to contribute to your creations with such wonderful additions? What fun....
ReplyDeleteAll of my daughters want a Chloe doll! I just know it. Oh, Debbie, she's so cute!
ReplyDeleteSO adorable! A lovely idea that Chloe got a lamb to keep her company. I do have to admit, I like her as a plain Jane too. Very sweet both ways...:)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing...happy week to you!
xoxo...Gloria

ReplyDeleteChloe is very cute and so's her lambkin.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, Chloe has the hair of my dreams (or maybe my nightmares).........when I was about six years old I pestered my mama for golden ringlets, which she acheived with curling irons.........looking back on an old photo now I resemble a miniature poodle..........be careful what you wish for....lesson learned!
ReplyDeleteSaying all that, Chloe is one very beautiful dolly, curly locks and all. x
So cute! Chloe will have lots of fun with her lambie I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
