"Let's be cheerful"! We have no more right to steal the brightness out of the day for our own family than we have to steal the purse of a stranger. Let us be as careful that our homes are furnished with pleasant & happy thoughts as we are that the rugs are the right color and texture & the furniture comfortable and beautiful"! the beach..

I'm home.  It's too late for me to be particular about my photo selection so this is chronological... day 1. Tomorrow I'll 'talk' more. Today I leave you with the 'feel' of my 3 days of bliss, my precious friends, the beautiful Oregon coast, a room with a view and ... time.

Blessings, Debbie

  11. Those photos are beautiful and remind me of the central and northern California coast. The southern coastline is different, that is where I grew up.

I'm looking forward to seeing your other photos!

  20. Beautiful! I have never been to a cold weather beach so it always is a surprise to me to see folks on the beach wearing lots of clothes. It looks like a lovely time! I wish I could go. A respite right about now would be so refreshing.

  30. I so miss the Oregon Coast. Your pictures made me terribly homesick! But that's ok, I'm so glad you had such a relaxing time. Were you anywhere near Cannon Beach? (or is it spelled Canon?)

  31. I know about three days of bliss, I know about precious friends, I know about a room with a view. I am thinking the Oregon coast and time might be what I can put down as some things to know.

    Wonderful...
