she's an airhead

Besides a bit of knittery today, (that was for you Meg!) I did a bit of blockery, um, blocking.  We had some balloons left from Audrey's birthday party.  I saw one of them laying next to the basket holding the wood nymph bonnet and thought, "hmm... time for a bit of blockery."

Kinda fun huh?

Kitschy.  But wait...

That's better.  At least we can have a conversation now.  I hate talking to faceless balloons!

  4. Honestly, I think you've "invented" something here! (I don't knit or crochet, but seems to me this is worth submitting to a knitting magazine for a little "yard money"!

Very sweet - how you drew such a beautiful face on her, too! And I ♥ your old Hoosier cabinet.

  13. VERY fun! I love the hat! It's hard to imagine needing a hat just yet, but I do like them even though they squish my weird hair. GREEN is a fun forest color for a darling bonnet!

  27. Dear Debbie,

I agree, no sense talking to a faceless balloon! The bonnet is very sweet, too. :) Your jam-making and spinning posts were lovely, as well; I have a drop spindle that I'm good at making dreadlocks with!

    Love,

  30. What a darling, your Miss Airhead! (And I think that "Creativity" is your middle name. ;-)

Thank you for asking...we are all recovering nicely now from our summer colds. And I laughed out loud at the "air hugs"!

Hope you are enjoying a splendid, germ-free weekend, Debbie!

  33. That is so great. I wouldn't have had a clue how to "block" anything. Of course, I should admit that I also wouldn't know how to hold a set of knitting needles. If only you lived closer, I would stalk you until you taught me to knit.
