"Let's be cheerful"! We have no more right to steal the brightness out of the day for our own family than we have to steal the purse of a stranger. Let us be as careful that our homes are furnished with pleasant & happy thoughts as we are that the rugs are the right color and texture & the furniture comfortable and beautiful"! a year today

July 10, 2011

One year ago today my girl became his wife.  A year ago today I rejoiced that God had answered one of my longest and most fervently prayed prayers.  A year ago today I laughed as I cried at the goodness that is so mercifully offered to those who trust Him.

Monte and Hillary, you loved God before you loved each other.  You honored your parents, as you honored each other.  God honored you when He gave you each other...

What more can a mother ask?
(except for grandbabies?)    ;)

I love you both so very much.  Happy Anniversary!

Many, many blessings, Mom

  3. Congratulations! I marked my son and daughter-in-law's fifth anniversary on the first of this month - what a blessing the precious couple is - and such a testimony to the Lord's faithfulness! My daughter waits - I pray - God's best will out to answer the desire of her heart - and mine for her!
    Joy!

  7. Such a wonderful blessing. I too pray for the godly man for my daughter. I tell her not to be in a hurry to marry, but I want grandchildren. Talk about a mixed message. Ha!
