"Let's be cheerful"! We have no more right to steal the brightness out of the day for our own family than we have to steal the purse of a stranger. Let us be as careful that our homes are furnished with pleasant & happy thoughts as we are that the rugs are the right color and texture & the furniture comfortable and beautiful"! a voice from the past

What's there to say?  I'm not even sure what's going on around here.With a bit of effort I give you my list of excuses...

* scritchies that turned into full blown colds
* family, family and more family for the holidays
* computer glitches
* camera glitches
* weekend travel
* search for a lost school routine
* post holiday lazies

I found myself getting comfortable, and then overwhelmed by the idea that it had been so long.  I was afraid to even pull the blog up because of guilt.  I didn't check to see what my friends had to say because of guilt.  I found myself avoiding the computer altogether because of, well, you get the picture.

Days came and went.  Full days, quiet days...

I look forward to catching up with you, my friends...  now that I've made friends with the computer again.

Blessings, Debbie

  6. I missed you! But, when you go over to look at my blog, you will see that I have been fairly quiet, too. Funny that just last night I took the leap after quite awhile, too.
    I need the curtains/valance in that first picture....love! OK, second picture, but I love the gray fur baby, too.
    Sometimes I think life just gets so blessedly normal that we settle into that peace for a bit.
    Glad you are back.

  26. I'm glad to know that everything is OK and that you had a great time with family and friends during the Holidays. WE ALL NEED A BREAK FROM BLOGGING ONCE IN A WHILE.

    I for one have experienced the guilt feeling but I know that those who care about me would be there when I returned and they were.

    Happy New Year. JB.

  34. We love that game and my son just received the Europe version as a gift - harder version and fun. Looks like you had a nice time off. The instrument is very interesting. Looks like a dulcimer but played like a guitar. What is it? Who made it?

    P.S. - having major troubles leaving a comment with my typepad account. Maybe typepad and blogger are having an argument? signing in with google.
