"Let's be cheerful"! We have no more right to steal the brightness out of the day for our own family than we have to steal the purse of a stranger. Let us be as careful that our homes are furnished with pleasant & happy thoughts as we are that the rugs are the right color and texture & the furniture comfortable and beautiful"! punchline to a yolk!

As daddy said, life is 95 percent anticipation.  Gloria Swanson

Was it worth the wait.  Yes.  Oh yes!  It's not quite finished yet but...

This week Larry had Erin do a bit of research.
So when their feet hit the floor Saturday morning, they were immediately on a mission!

After lot's and lots of talking,

a little negotiating,

the new addition comes off  to the right

some measuring and eyeballing~

Honey Bun's pen

the two of them were off to the hardware store.

entrance Bunny's pen

As I said, it's not quite finished yet.  But by the end of the day there had been a fine addition to the bunny pen.  Complete with it's own separate entrance crowned with twin birdhouses just like Honey Bunny's.  Soon we will welcome a long awaited addition to the P. family farm.

finally!

This is the result of much, much, much anticipation.  Not to mention much 'hen'-pecking!

More to come!!

Blessings,  Debbie

  5. Oh I just love this...mostly because I loved seeing a father teaching his daughter. I now have five sons and I know God had my own father hand picked out for me because he taught me things that I would pass on to my sons. #5 son brought home a motor, go kart motor that had a missing part...he asked me, "what is missing?" I told him it was the air filter...AND I WAS RIGHT!!
Thank God for Dad's that teach their daughters....enjoy and please add pictures when you have them...I love the pictures you took.
