(whispering)
I'm writing tonight because in the morning the girls and I are headed to the valley to visit Hillary and Monte. I'll be gone for 3 days and will come back without Erin. She will stay and spend some sister time with her big sis while Monte is putting in some overtime. Then they will all come home for Easter! And if that's not enough excitement to keep me up tonight...
Shhh... the chickens are asleep in the hen-house!! Finally.
See you in 3 days...
Blessings, Debbie
Cluck...cluck....cluck! Hope you have a wonderful time. Easter blessing to you and the family. Maa
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they will lay soon. If not already. Saying that, our first lot of hens were rare breeds and they took months before they began to lay. We decided they were too posh to push! Eventually they did lay, but never as many as our hybrids do. Hope you have a lovely family time.
ReplyDeleteLove the "hint" to the hens! LOL! Enjoy your trip.
ReplyDeleteHave a great time!
ReplyDeleteThe valley is especially lovely right now! Have a great trip, and I hope your hens live up to your expectations!
ReplyDeleteHave a safe trip, and a wonderful time visiting your daughter and son-in-law. How many chickens do you have? I hope they start laying for you soon!
ReplyDeleteHave fun and I look forward to stories when you get back. Your chicken house is wonderful and I love the picture with the egg carton that is totally hopeful.
ReplyDeleteI know you'll have a wonderful time. Happy to hear you're feeling better; hoping for much success with the "layers"!
