After a whirlwind 3 day visit to the valley, and a whirlwind visit from our valley kids (they came back this direction the day after we left. to be here for Easter) it's hard to believe that the past week actually happened. Have you ever felt that way? We packed so much into such a short time that I think I'm planning a three part series here. I'm calling today's post: 3 1/2 hours (that's drive time) of worth it.
Because although I HATE big city freeway driving, it was definitely worth it!

Sounds like you had a wonderful Easter (despite the driving and traffic)! Those are beautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteDebbie, it sounds like a wonderful Easter!
ReplyDeleteFor the Craft it forward- I need YOUR address. You don't have to do anything unless you want to continue it on from your blog, if not, no biggie. I am making YOU something.Does that make sense? I'm a little tired this morning and have been doing a lot of cleaning so not sure how clear that came out. Have a great Monday.
NO--I wouldn't post my address publicly. If you click on my profile, you will see a link to my email address. Just send your address there and then when it is finished, I will send you a gift. You are not hounding me, it's all new to me too.
ReplyDeleteI really like the driving part through the trees. The big city is pretty too, but I think that road in the country so far is my favorite. Everything is so green and the trees are so big. It is just beautiful and all of that snow on that mountain. Is it one of the 7 sisters?
ReplyDeleteHey! I recognized Portland! You're really making me miss Oregon, you know that?! : )
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had such a good trip. Looking forward to seeing and reading more about it.
I have the BIGGEST smile on my face from the last picture. This was great. I just love the way you blogged it.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful journey --- but I am with you on the city driving! Every time I go there I get lost! You'd think I'd learn by now. It's my favorite city, though. So many interesting things to see and do.
ReplyDeleteI am totally in love with the high desert and find it much more interesting than any city, though!
This is great...we took 12 hours to make it to a city just 4 hours away, we were stopping and taking everything in. This is great, and so glad you had a wonderful time! Love the pictures!
ReplyDeleteWhen are you all going to come visit us?? Soon I hope. Hmmm, let's see...there's the Count of Monte Cristo ball on May 21st. *hint, hint*. Haha, glad to hear you had fun with Hill. Talk to you soon. :)
