"Let's be cheerful"! We have no more right to steal the brightness out of the day for our own family than we have to steal the purse of a stranger. Let us be as careful that our homes are furnished with pleasant & happy thoughts as we are that the rugs are the right color and texture & the furniture comfortable and beautiful"! Shh...

(whispering)
I'm writing tonight because in the morning the girls and I are headed to the valley to visit Hillary and Monte. I'll be gone for 3 days and will come back without Erin.  She will stay and spend some sister time with her big sis while Monte is putting in some overtime.  Then they will all come home for Easter!  And if that's not enough excitement to keep me up tonight...

Admittedly a poor first photo.  But it's all I could get.  Larry didn't get home with the
hennies until after I had begun serving dinner for our Monday night prayer group.
Erin ran out with the camera to get at least one picture of Mr. hopeful
giving the  girls the grand tour... and a subtle hint!

Shhh... the chickens are asleep in the hen-house!!  Finally.
See you in 3 days...

Blessings,  Debbie

  2. I'm sure they will lay soon. If not already. Saying that, our first lot of hens were rare breeds and they took months before they began to lay. We decided they were too posh to push! Eventually they did lay, but never as many as our hybrids do. Hope you have a lovely family time.
