"Let's be cheerful"! We have no more right to steal the brightness out of the day for our own family than we have to steal the purse of a stranger. Let us be as careful that our homes are furnished with pleasant & happy thoughts as we are that the rugs are the right color and texture & the furniture comfortable and beautiful"! grandpa

How blessed we are to have grandpa nearby!

Is there anything quite like a grandpa?

Who else can turn an ordinary deck of cards into 'tricky' entertainment?

When the kids were younger, he pulled quarters out of their ears!

They didn't understand why they couldn't just ask grandpa when they needed money.

Weren't they instant ATM's in his proficient hands?

Sometimes I'm tempted to send them over to play again.  Just enough for a gallon of milk...
Love you dad!

Blessings, Debbie

  1. Granddad's are great! Mine will be 93 this May and going strong. I wish he lived closer, but I do get to talk with him every week.
