green beans


My day in green beans pictures.




















Final count ~ 16- 3/4 lb. bags of blanched frozen beans.  And 9 quarts of my personal favorite... Dilly beans! It's definitely a start.

  3. Green beans have always been one of my favorites and we did not plant them this year since we were just starting. You get to enjoy them all year now because of your hard labor!

  5. Chuckling - I *know* this Day in Beans. Could be the name of a harvest festival. I've just been blanching and freezing my yellow beans. Never tried dilly beans, but you've got me intrigued.

  18. Those are some nice looking beans! I'm all done canning mine for this year, and though I didn't get nearly as many as last year, I'm still glad for the jars I have!

    I don't know what dilly beans are. Do you add other seasonings to them?
