"Let's be cheerful"! We have no more right to steal the brightness out of the day for our own family than we have to steal the purse of a stranger. Let us be as careful that our homes are furnished with pleasant & happy thoughts as we are that the rugs are the right color and texture & the furniture comfortable and beautiful"! no barkey!

Even a fool is thought wise if he keeps silent,
and discerning if he holds his tongue.
Proverbs 17:28

  3. :) Wish I could teach this verse to my Schnauzer. He is 'practically perfect in every way'... except barking which he does way too much.

Sweet photos of family on your sidebar. I have a daughter named Erin.

A joy stopping by to visit with you.

  15. Debbie,
Wise words. I use this advice when dealing with my adult/teenager these days.
The pincushion turned out terrifically. The homesteading book sounds fascinating.
