Did you read it on the cake? On the card? Eighteen. Apparently I no longer have to sign for her, she can just do whatever she wants. Eighteen. I have every reason to believe there's nothing to worry about. She makes good choices. She even still values my advice. Have I covered everything she needs to know? Can she really do this without me? Eighteen...
Happy birthday to my... woman? I really, really want to say my baby girl...
..and thank you, thank you Mindi for the time spent coloring brown dots for pink balloons so they would match the tables! Your OCD is my personal friend.
Blessings, Debbie
Happy Birthday, Erin! 18. Yeh! Hope you enjoyed your birthday.
ReplyDeleteAwww, crazy - your baby is 18?!?! I can't even imagine, yet I know it will be upon me in no time! How the years fly!! Happy Birthday to your lovely daughter!
ReplyDeleteI love the gifts she received! They are gifts that are very untypical of what an average American eighteen year old would want; that's why I love them! Looks like a beautiful get-together!
ReplyDeleteWow. She is such a beauty! You have raised her up to be a roaring woman! Hoping you are as ready for this next phase as she it....find joy.
ReplyDeletehugs to you. d.
Happy birthday to Erin! They grow up quickly. I wanted to comment on your post yesterday, but our internet was pokey. Just wanted to say, I'm happy that you discovered what you needed to feel well again.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful woman she is too. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Erin. My baby is turning 39 in August and I still call her my baby. I'm the only one allowed to call her that though.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't notice that she is wearing one of my favorite Motto on her shirt. Just Do It. Way to go Erin...
She's getting a lot of presents because she deserves it and she's loved.
Great job on the party.

ReplyDeleteLovely post. How quickly they grow. Your daughter is beautiful. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful birthday celebration!!! My oldest daughter turned 19 in March...she is more wonderful now than when she was younger...and yes she still listens to mom:) I don't understand the worry of teenagers turning into adults...well young adults:) You are very blessed!!

A woman, yes, but always your baby. Congrats to her, to you!
ReplyDeleteSo as usual I click on the blog bookmark and find... a post. Settle in to read, ah, so nice and cosy but look, there's another one! Double nice! :) So glad you're feeling better!
ReplyDeleteChanges are happening in our life too, I'm going to go post about it.
Happy Birthday to your beautiful daughter! Love the decor and cake.
ReplyDeleteShe is radiant! Good job, mama, for being a Proverbs 31 woman and raising daughters who are lovely inside and out.
ReplyDeleteWow!! I can't imagine that happening yet I know it is coming on fast and soon.

What a beautiful birthday celebration for your lovely daughter. Thanks for visiting me, glad you were inspired with the scripture jars. ~ Abby
ReplyDeleteI read this several days ago, I knew I needed to hop back over here and comment...beautiful daughters with birthdays in May. My own sweet one turned seventeen on the 8th. Your "baby girl" has developed into a charming and beautiful young lady. (I still prefer to call women, ladies, whether young or old...)
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are back and feeling better!
Happy, happy belated birthday! 18, wow! Such a beautiful young woman.
ReplyDeleteAnd I gotta say, those hand-dotted balloons are awesome!
