"Let's be cheerful"! We have no more right to steal the brightness out of the day for our own family than we have to steal the purse of a stranger. Let us be as careful that our homes are furnished with pleasant & happy thoughts as we are that the rugs are the right color and texture & the furniture comfortable and beautiful"! steve campbell guitars, friends and babies~these are a few of my favorite things

The week that followed the weekend visit of our friends just wasn't a blogging week.  It was such a nice time that I wanted to share it now even though the time is past.  They were here to choose the style and wood for Judd's new custom Steve Campbell guitar.  A very exciting and long awaited moment for this musician.
Arriving early Saturday, joining us for fellowship Sunday morning and leaving directly after, it was short but we had a comfortable, quiet, laid back time.  The best friends are the friends that you can have a comfortable, quiet, laid back time with.. don't you think?
These thoughts and photos are from weekend before last...

The beautiful babies in the preceding photos we get to enjoy when they visit our Sunday worship service...  Who can resist posting pictures of beautiful babies?  Not I!!  The photo above?  Two of them are my babies.  The other two are beautiful friends.  :)

Blessings, Debbie

  1. Bless your heart for having such a laid-back approach to having guests. I get a little nutty, myself, when we have lots of company. Good for you!

  5. You really captured the essence of your lovely day. We love guitars and babies and friends too! The pic of the little girl is so beautiful, exquisite. I don't often use that word, but it really deserves it!
Older 'babies' are so nice to have, I think. Very dear.

  7. You are so good at sharing your life...one photo at a time. I love seeing the peeks. I need to learn to do that better....photos as sharing life and not as only art....or something like that. Thanks for sharing. Love, d.

  10. OH what a lovely time that must have been! It looks like there is so much love, fun, and music in that gathering. [o= There are times that blogging gets put to the side but can always be picked up later again. ( I am prime example on this one ((blush)) ) I just loved all the pics and the little ones are precious.

    Blessings and ((HUGS))

  11. Sweet, sweet, sweet! You do such a great job of taking "daily life" pictures with great quality. Some people I know take great pictures, but leave out the daily life. I lean toward the daily life pictures, but low quality. You manage both so well!
