The week that followed the weekend visit of our friends just wasn't a blogging week. It was such a nice time that I wanted to share it now even though the time is past. They were here to choose the style and wood for Judd's new custom Steve Campbell guitar. A very exciting and long awaited moment for this musician.
Arriving early Saturday, joining us for fellowship Sunday morning and leaving directly after, it was short but we had a comfortable, quiet, laid back time. The best friends are the friends that you can have a comfortable, quiet, laid back time with.. don't you think?
These thoughts and photos are from weekend before last...
Blessings, Debbie
Bless your heart for having such a laid-back approach to having guests. I get a little nutty, myself, when we have lots of company. Good for you!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of beautiful moments - few words needed. I am so glad you shared them for they warmed my heart.
ReplyDeleteIt was nice, but too short...again soon I think :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a nice visit! Precious children!
ReplyDeleteYou really captured the essence of your lovely day. We love guitars and babies and friends too! The pic of the little girl is so beautiful, exquisite. I don't often use that word, but it really deserves it!
ReplyDeleteOlder 'babies' are so nice to have, I think. Very dear.
How nice that you captured these precious moments to share.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Have a great weekend.
JB
You are so good at sharing your life...one photo at a time. I love seeing the peeks. I need to learn to do that better....photos as sharing life and not as only art....or something like that. Thanks for sharing. Love, d.
ReplyDeleteComfortable, quiet and laid back is what I prefer every day. :) And friends who fit right in are definitely the best. Those little ones are so very precious! Have a beautiful day. Tammy
ReplyDeleteBeautiful babies indeed!! Lovely photos too!! Our good friends are exactly that - people we can be laid back and relaxed with! Love it!

OH what a lovely time that must have been! It looks like there is so much love, fun, and music in that gathering. [o= There are times that blogging gets put to the side but can always be picked up later again. ( I am prime example on this one ((blush)) ) I just loved all the pics and the little ones are precious.

Sweet, sweet, sweet! You do such a great job of taking "daily life" pictures with great quality. Some people I know take great pictures, but leave out the daily life. I lean toward the daily life pictures, but low quality. You manage both so well!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great time! Babies looking through books = adorabibble!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful babies -- every one of them!!
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Deborah
All those sweet babies. Those are my favorite things too.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures say it all...what a true blessing! Just priceless
