"Let's be cheerful"! We have no more right to steal the brightness out of the day for our own family than we have to steal the purse of a stranger. Let us be as careful that our homes are furnished with pleasant & happy thoughts as we are that the rugs are the right color and texture & the furniture comfortable and beautiful"! a stylish welcome for our 'wind'some travelers

What?  Willows, you've returned home without accepting our invitation to tea?  You'd think that after traveling 'round the world, just one more jaunt to Oregon could have been arranged.  Ah well, how about we do this kinda virtual like?

That was simply divine.  Wish you were here!  (You too Pom Pom)...

Blessings, Debbie's gals and friends

  1. All the girls looks so beautiful and I love the hats.
When I was growing up we would visit and stay with my grandparents every summer. One of the high lights of those visit's was the 'high tea' my grandmother would host for us and all the girls from church. Those really were such special times.
    Have a great weekend Debbie.

  10. WOW! Oh my word, you ladies get first prize- an all expenses paid pretend trip to afternoon tea at the Dorchester, London. And if you're ever in Belfast, we'll do a most definitely non-virtual afternoon tea at the Merchant! But first I'll have to do some serious catching-up on the sartorial front...

  12. What a great party! Of all the Willows teas I've seen thus far, I believe you all "take the cake"! :) What dresses and hats! And the lace and elegant teapot ... so nice. My daughter looked at these photos and said, "Where did they GET those dresses?" :)

  14. This reminds me of a tea shop my mother used to go to with her friends. As you entered they would let you choose a fancy hat and other accessories to dress up for tea. Wouldn't it be fun to have all the WITW tour gals meet there?
This was a beautiful tea party, indeed!

  19. This was just fabulous! A Tea Party! The girls clothing and accessories were beautiful! Love doing this with my daughter when she was much younger and have many many fond memories... There is not a tea house around here any more, but we used to gather at a friend's beautiful home, let the girls dress up, set a fancy table of delightful food... oh what memories! I'm so glad you shared this! Lovely!
