"Let's be cheerful"! We have no more right to steal the brightness out of the day for our own family than we have to steal the purse of a stranger. Let us be as careful that our homes are furnished with pleasant & happy thoughts as we are that the rugs are the right color and texture & the furniture comfortable and beautiful"! a 'little' salt spray
... and there it was, right where I left it ~ some things you can just count on, you know?
I never saw the ocean until I was nineteen, growing up in western Kansas limits ones exposure to expansive bodies of water (although Kansas used to be at the bottom of a huge inland sea). I hated it at first; too stinky...I love it and crave it now.
Beautiful! I'm watching the snow fall (again). I'll live vicariously through you. I just love the photos of your girls. Their expressions are so fun! I'm going to show my girls the hummingbird. We have them here and have seen their empty nest, but they're so tiny and so fast, we've never seen one nesting. Oh, and the sweater is marvelous. The colour and the sweet little hat. I'm afraid I have moved much past knitting hats, neck warmers, and dish clothes, but I'm enjoying it very much, and that's what is more important, yes?
I hope you continue to have a beautiful and relaxing week!
