"Let's be cheerful"! We have no more right to steal the brightness out of the day for our own family than we have to steal the purse of a stranger. Let us be as careful that our homes are furnished with pleasant & happy thoughts as we are that the rugs are the right color and texture & the furniture comfortable and beautiful"! 3. Every picture I see of your home looks so peaceful and cozy....I love that feeling! Isn't it interesting what a mix of yes/no we go through in a short time?
Here's to more yes moments each day!

  4. Here is a question for you. Hopefully not to personal.

    When your kids were little...
Were you more of a "Yes! Mom" or "No. Mom".

I'm aware that I struggle with this at times. I'm quicker to say/reply "no"... rather than saying "yes!" more often and enjoying the results.

Just something I've been thinking about. I like what Donna said up there. "Here's to more yes moments each day.". I like that...

  6. A good list. My husband plans on taking us to Les Miserables. Do you think that's not a good idea?

  7. Oh, Bill LOVED Les Miserables. He cried. It's a man's movie, I think. I loved it, too, but for completely different reasons.

  10. Nutshells are great - especially when you crack them and get to the meat.

    Les Miserables

Movie - Tim and I have seen it twice.
Play - Before the girls Tim and I saw it at least 6 times
Book - I've read the unabridged book even more frequently.
Tim - Has never read the book and prefers the play.

Me - I think the book easily tops both but I think the play and movie each have their own strong points and weaknesses.
