Do you remember when we first read about Snowflake Bentley? How we found our own piece of black velvet, smoothed it carefully on the cookie sheet and captured our first (very own) snowflake? Of course many snowflakes had fallen on noses and tongues, had been gathered into snowballs and preserved in the freezer.. but this was the first time we were intentional in our endeaver to collect and observe a single snowflake. Many found their way to our prepared platform. We were amazed at the detail of each crystal-like formation. How could they be so incredibly perfect and unique?

Happy birthday to my own unique miracle of perfection. I cherish every memory of you! Yep, even that one and that one and... :)
Love, mom
Beautiful and intricate. Just like a snowflake. (Co-ordinated nail varnish too!) We're hoping for snow instead of our usual rain. Looks like the rest of the UK are getting some. Not us.
ReplyDeletePoor lad. You've worn him out.
Isn't it a true fact, that no matter how old our babies become, when watching them in slumber we are transported back to their remembered babyhood.
ReplyDeletePretty snowflake.
So sweet, Memories are one of God's special gifts to us,sending a big Happy Birthday wish to your son.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sue

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to your son. Sleeping soundly like mama's baby.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.
I love the juxtaposition of two things - snowflakes and your son - made uniquely by God's hand!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to your son. He must have been wiped out from lots of Christmas fun ;)
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of him. Nice quilled ornament too.
ReplyDeleteThey grow too fast - good things little ones are coming!!
Lol! What a great photo! Happy Birthday! Love the quilling. I have a friend who was very good at it and for many years I had two snowflakes she made me hanging in my bedroom window.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Deborah
This is great! ;) Happy Birthday to your son!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it interesting that we both mentioned Bentley. I hadn't heard of him until I did a little research for my snowflake post. Thanks so much for introducing yourself to me. Lovely blog, lovely family. ~ Abby
