A balmy change in the weather has everyone feeling a bit like their old selves again. I never did get bit by the bug that was lodging here. He tried but I fought with everything I had.. and won. Apparently, the girls were enough to satisfy and thankfully even they didn't suffer like many have. Erin was down for only a few days and Audrey the same except that everything always settles in her sinus' and keeps her snuffing for like.. a gazillion days.
When I took off for a couple of hours the girls (did I say they were feeling like their old selves?) went to the park for an incognito photo shoot..
Ah, the 'ol tiny person photo trick! Actually no, this is our friend Charity who joined the girls when I got back. She's a 50 foot, 9 year old giant. Obviously she is a sweetheart or the girls wouldn't climb in her hand like that. We can only meet Charity in the park because she doesn't fit in our house making for a really interesting relationship, one that takes dedication and creativity. It's been worth the effort as last week when we needed help moving the garage her dad came over and it took less than five minutes! Just kidding.. we didn't move the garage! :)
Praying that you are enjoying balmy weather and feeling well.
Blessings, Debbie
You're a silly thing today! and pretty funny. Very cute pictures of the girls. I'd say you all have spring fever!
ReplyDeleteThat is funny, thanks for the chuckle this morning!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun post, Debbie! Glad everyone is recovered and that you escaped unscathed!
ReplyDeleteHow very hand that you have a few giants around! Just think, if you ever need a tree ripped out, you know who to call. We are indeed enjoying balmy weather! I've been weeding the flower beds and soaking up as much sun as possible. It's been so wonderful to be outside again! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a happy post! The photo shoot looks like a lot of fun and I love the photo in the glasses shot....award winning sort of shot!
ReplyDeleteAnd giants are often friendly in my experience, too. :-)
I enjoyed you wonderful funny and creative post today. Thanks, you've made my day. I love the saying on that T-shirt JUST DO IT It's my motto.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend.
JB
How cute! Don't you love a taste of spring?
ReplyDeleteIt all does look like fun!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like so much fun, you have some creative girls. We had a glimpse of spring ourselves but it was short lived...back to winter
ReplyDeleteSounds like the warmer weather has you all feeling a bit like your old selves....
ReplyDeleteDeanna
Do you think your girls have their mom's sense of humor? Maybe? :D
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear that everyone is feeling better...or still well! Another winter month is in the rear view mirror...
Haha, I've never done that photo trick, can't wait to try it. Love the faces, will try that with my "grands". ~ Abby
ReplyDeleteVery creative girls! You can tell your family doesn't sit in front of the t.v. or video games by their creativity!
ReplyDeleteAs far as medical issues...which should be the very core of our personal freedoms (well...second to religion of course)...I fear we will lose our rights here!
I'd say everybody is on the road to recovery! And laughter is always the best medicine :-)
