"Let's be cheerful"! We have no more right to steal the brightness out of the day for our own family than we have to steal the purse of a stranger. Let us be as careful that our homes are furnished with pleasant & happy thoughts as we are that the rugs are the right color and texture & the furniture comfortable and beautiful"! salvation

You remember this yarn?  I knew that I was happy as it was drying.  Then I was giddy after winding it into balls.  I became ecstatic as I began knitting!  Erin has been asking me to make the fingerless gloves from this book (the same book I'm using to make this) for weeks.  Now she's glad we waited...

  11. Beautiful!

I learned my very first knitting stitches (?) yesterday. I have to say that I am not a member of the club yet. Can you teach an old dog new tricks? I maintain that you can...but I do think that old dogs take longer. I'll keep trying...inspired by your delicious projects.
