"Let's be cheerful"! We have no more right to steal the brightness out of the day for our own family than we have to steal the purse of a stranger. Let us be as careful that our homes are furnished with pleasant & happy thoughts as we are that the rugs are the right color and texture & the furniture comfortable and beautiful"! happy thanksgiving

A Child's Song of Praise
for my littles, written years ago

Thank you Lord for the sun and the moon and stars
thank you Lord for balloons and for candy bars
thank you Lord for who you are...

Thank you Lord
Thank you Lord

Thank you Lord for dying to set me free
Thank you Lord for the cross and for Calvary
Thank you Lord for who you are...

Thank you Lord
Thank you Lord

May we all have the faith of a Child, and a spirit of thanks that reflects the Father who is generous!
Blessings to you my beautiful, precious friends!

~~Debbie

  5. THAT is a very sweet little hymn.
Every year I have to crack open the old cookbook to find a bit of essential information: How long do I cook the bird?
I am just getting ready to make the stuffing and get Tom into the oven.
We are expecting a beautiful day! I'll walk to the park with my Birdie while the rest of the family takes a post-feast nap!
I wish you a wonderful day, good friend! Cranberries all around!
