Come on... act like you like each other! I just want a picture of my girls. Is that really too much to ask?
Am I the only one who has to put up with this just to get 1 decent picture? Of course I'm glad that they have fun together, but sheesh. I was way more tolerant when it took 10 tries to get a toddler shot - they are young women now! I'm often found trying to sneak a picture and you know how that goes...
Blessings, Debbie
*note the cute skirt that Erin made Audrey for her birthday in August~
You've got a couple of lovely daughters there, Spring Chick - siblings eh? Never a dull moment.
ReplyDeleteFound your blog through Jacqui at Barefoot.
Great pics here - looking forward to reading more.

They are just too cute Debbie. No, you are not the only one. I think our children must have gotten together and decided to make sure we fill up a memory card for just one decent picture. My children, especially the guy's, always cut up and usually push my patience to the limit. Rotten kid's ;) xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful girls, Debbie!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, mine do this too - one especially makes the faces!
The skirt is cute!
Have a great Monday!
Deanna
Kids will be kids. My two never take a serious photo. They are always pulling faces :)
ReplyDeleteI can guarantee that if there are three children in the photo, the first photo will be OK, but the next ten will have someone pulling a face. Makes it worse that they rush over to see what it looks like on the camera. Noticed the cup of pens in the cupboard. I do the same so that I can guarantee finding a working pen. Its gradually moving up the shelves as the children grow!
ReplyDeleteAdmired the skirt straightaway. It suits her!
But, they made a great post! Your girls are so cute.
ReplyDeleteAhhhhh... but their precious personalities come shining through!! Looks like mamma's talent is continuing on in the next generation. Love that skirt! blessings ~ Tanna
ReplyDeleteThe further down I scrolled, the more I laughed! I can only imagine how they test your patience. But gosh they are just too funny!
ReplyDeleteAh - I imagine that will be the way my girls will act too...
ReplyDeleteBTW I noticed that cute skirt in the first picture...adorable.
ReplyDeleteThat's nearly the exact face my oldest makes when the word "broom" is mentioned!
ReplyDeleteI can totally understand this! But they're still just plain beautiful! :)
This one made my daughter and me laugh right out loud!
ReplyDeleteHer favorite is the last shot of your daughters.
Even with the "escape in progress" pictures, you can tell that they love each other.
Have I already mentioned how much I love your blog posts?
:) Jodi
They are very photogenic! My little sixth graders come alive when they see my camera! I wish it would last!
ReplyDeleteMy sisters and I are in our 50s and 60s and we still act that way we we have to take a group photo. Your daughters are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful lovely girls no matter what. JB
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful young ladies! Cute photos.
ReplyDeleteYour girls are lovely! Such a realistic insight into your family. :) Blessings, ~Lisa
ReplyDeleteSuch cute girls!
ReplyDeleteHehe! Yep, it's usually "Quit hitting each other!" or "No, not a silly face! Just smile!". :) I remember hearing the same thing from my mom too...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful daughters (including your older girl, Hilary). These photos make a great collage. All of them. xo,
ReplyDeleteOh, too cute and somehow those scenes look so familiar. =D
ReplyDeleteDebbie, your girls are both beautiful and hysterical! (Why do I suspect that they take a bit after their mom? ;-))
ReplyDeleteThanks for giving me a really big smile to start the week!
And what is it about kids and pictures anyway?!
Love, Cheryl
I am so glad to see a family of girls (you, too!) with such a sense of fun! How cute they are! (you, too!)
ReplyDeleteHa! That is cute! love,andrea
ReplyDeleteFunny pics...beautiful girls!
ReplyDeleteDear Debbie,
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha ha ha! Your girls could be my two oldest! I had to bring them in to share the laugh (by the way, how do you get away with posting these pictures of your children, hee hee!). :)
The skirt is indeed very cute, too!
Love,
Marqueta
I have a zillion shots like this! Cute skirt too!
ReplyDeleteI thought those were my tow oldest girls for a moment... ah such a failiar type moment in our house, too.
ReplyDeleteOurs are the same way when we try to get a picture of them together....then I give them the "mom look" and they cooperate (they are supposed to be grown after all!)
ReplyDeleteYour daughters are lovely!
Sisters are so great! These photos made me miss my little sis!
ReplyDeleteMy girls are the same, especially Izzy. She covers her face up!
ReplyDeleteYour girls are so beautiful. Bless them.xxx
It gets a little better when they're actually grown up. But only a little I can get a nice picture of Gin if she's holding the baby - alone? I still get the face, and she's over thirty. Cam and M mug like idiots, but at least it's a surfeit of smile - but Chaz? Now, that's a girl who loves the camera. The girls are both beautiful, by the way - silly things.
ReplyDeleteSorry Debbie, about the confusion, lol. That must be a load off your mind, lol... I took a look on her blog but was too pressed for time to read it. I shouldn't have assumed. I try not to but sometimes when we don't have our facts straight these things happens. Sorry again. She looks adorable holding the cute little baby. I thought that she looked awful young to have all those kids.. I feel like an April fool. ha,ha. JB
ReplyDeleteNO, you are NOT the only one ;-) xoxo Clarice
ReplyDeleteCute cute girls...you are blessed, lovely family.
