...where the heart is

A weekend with all of my girls, my mama, my son, my married in son and my son's girl who is fast becoming my girl too...  it was good.  Never let doubt or worry take hold, just go visit.  We're back home and I'm tired.  No matter that I'm feeling SO much better, still... I'm no spring chicken.  :)

  1. Hi Debbie, sure I'll put your yard on my list of To Do, Go to Debbie's garden to pick veggies and herbs because I didn't plant veggie garden this year for the first time ever. I just want to concentrate and get caught up on my weeding this year. What a price to pay.

The Calla Lilies are just so beautiful and what's that herb with the curly tendrils, garlic chives/

I can clearly see that the dog will not give up his or her seat no matter how much you say he or she is adorable.

I love the little star lights under the canopy. A sweet touch.

    Have a great blissful day.
    Hugs,
    JB

  3. Nice said: "Never let doubt or worry take hold, just go visit." I love the photo with you on it and the dog. Is it a Husky? And the little stars are sweet.

I hear you about "tired". But it's the good kind of tired, isn't it?

  13. Fantastic photos - they have a beautiful home. Curly do-das look like garlic scapes. Tell Hilary to break them off and the garlic bulbs will grow big, ready to harvest at the end of July. use the scapes in cooking - they are nice roasted or used like garlicky tasting scallions.
Love the lillies, and you look good too grandma xx

  14. I think the curly things are garlic somethings...I see them at the farmer's market.
I love the picture of you, that is you, right? with the pupster. Time for a new picture of you on the blog. I am so glad you have a wonderful time. I'm in Amish country for 3 days and I know I will be at least that many days getting over it....but it will be worth it, I believe.

  21. Gorgeous! I love the pictures. I confess I am dying to know where they got the star lights, since we have been searching for just the "right thing" for our newly updated patio and I haven't found anything I like half so well as their lights!
